Mountain Explorer Lesson - Level 8

Mountain Explorer Lesson Level-8

Level eight snowboarders are confident advanced snowboarders who carve/dynamic turn, on all terrain and in all snow conditions. Level eight snowboarders can snowboard with carving turns on black runs. Level eight snowboarders regularly board off-piste in varying terrain, including open and closed tree runs, in shallow ankle through to waist deep powder, within and outside ski resort boundaries. Learning about backcountry snowboarding and snowboarding outside the resort's boundaries on half-day tours.

Advanced Snowboard Lesson Level-7

Level Seven snowboarders are confident advance snowboarders who carve turns of varying radius' on intermediate and  are refining this technique on black runs. These snowboarders experiment with dynamic turning (free riding lines per the terrain) on and off-piste. Confident enough to snowboard open trees, or shallow powder runs off-piste. Confident short radius turns and carving turns on all red runs on-piste. Maybe venturing into bump runs on occasions.

Intermediate Advance Snowboard Lesson Level-6

Level six snowboarders are confident intermediate snowboarders who can link turns on all red runs. They are able to perform basic carve turns on intermediate runs. These snowboarders board relatively fast and venture of into the powder regularly on the edge of the runs. Confident enough to  snowboard among open trees, or natural powder runs off-piste.

Intermediate Snowboard Lesson Level-5

Level Five snowboarders are confident intermediate snowboarders who are able use dynamic linked turns, and stop confidently on intermediate red runs. These snowboarders board relatively fast, but may have difficulty, loosing their edges, on steeper, icy, or bumpy intermediate runs. May still slide turn to imitate turns on piste. Enjoying riding off-piste on red runs.
