Rafting

We operate rafting tours in 3 locations across Hokkaido : Niseko, Furano(Shimukappu), and Akan. In spring time, with the snow melt, high water levels make for a thrilling and exciting tour. The summer months, with lower water levels, allow the whole family to experience a more relaxing tour, whilst enjoying the fascinating scenery to be found alond the way.

NOASC runs river tours across the northern most Island of Japan, Hokkaido, in Niseko(Toyohira), Shimukappu and Akan.

NOASC Niseko runs river tours on 2 courses: Niseko Spring course & the Kucchan Summer course, on the Shiribetsu River, and also the Toyohira river located 20 minutes from the centre of Sapporo.

NOASC Shimukappu, located in central Hokkaido, plays host to Hokkaido's number 1 rafting location, being the Mu River( or more commonly know as the Mukawa River) with the most consistent, exciting Rafting tours available in Hokkaido. Depending on conditions, trips are also run on several other nearby rivers.

NOASC Akan only 30 minutes from the city of Kushiro, and 15 minutes from the Akan National Park makes for a beautiful setting for many different adventure activities.

We cater for beginner to experienced river runners on river suiting the kids through to the thrill seeking adventurer. Our professional, fully trained, and RAJ( River Guide Association of Japan) qualified guides will guide you on your adventure experience with NOASC...just do it Adventure tours.

Summer: Clothes that you don't mind if they get wet. Tee shirt and shorts, preferably made from man-made fibres which will dry quickly. Swimmers are OK too. On hot days we won't wear wet suits, just your shorts, maybe a tee shirt and our life jacket and helmet. We will offer you a wetsuit to wear. Note: On hot days wetsuits won't be available for use.
